Party Poker

Do you like to play poker?

Poker is one of the most adaptable card games at all. It is played all over the world in an infinite number of variations, but Party Poker likes to focus on the big five versions of the game – Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi / Lo, 7 Card Stud, and 7 Card Stud Hi / Lo. These poker games are usually the most common games that are played in casinos, card-game halls, and on the internet.

At Party Poker, you can play all these games with real money, and play money in the tournaments.

As with many games, the object of poker is to win it. Whether you want to pass the time or play for money,  playing the game of poker always calls out your skills and you must use strategic thinking.

There are many different variations of poker, but all follow a basic pattern:

  • The players will participate in a central pot, the chips or cash-equivalent chips contain.
  • The players are dealt cards (a “sheet” or a “hand”), some of which are concealed.
  • Depending on the quality of the sheet are given in bidding rounds of betting.
  • If the betting rounds are over, the player with the strongest hand, or the one who remains the last to the left when all others have given up!

No matter what type of poker you play, it is important to understand your own card deck and to know the rank of hands.
