Well, I'm ("I" being Walter Mrowczynski III, the webmaster of this website) looking for fellow musicians for my band/project Skull Dragon. If you live in the area and are looking to get a serious original band going in a BLS/Pantera/AIC style, Or if you are already an established/signed band in need a guitarist with a Wylde style, shoot me an email, SkullDragon@ BlackLabelSociety.net or check me out on MySpace: myspace.com/ skulldragon69 | |

Misc. Zakk Guitars that I found around the 'net:
Zakk stripped the paint off of this guitar in order to obtain the blonde finish. Initially it's color was wine red. I've seen and heard many people asking about this one, asking which guitar is it thats under the stickers. Its not the LP with the broken glass finish, it's the natural blonde finish LP shown above.
This was Zakks very first Les Paul. He saved his lunch money and limited himself in everything, in order to purchase this guitar. Once, when he returned home from school, his mom said she had a surprise for him. He went to the kitchen and did not believe his eyes.... There on the table lay a cream Gibson Les Paul Custom.
This is Zakks guitar that donated to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on October 11th, 2003. Click here to read the knac.com article.

Misc Les Pauls that Zakk owns or owned at one time.

Les Paul Jr - Right - This 1958 Les Paul Junior was presented to Zakk on his 25th birthday. (1992) "This is a very good guitar" says Zakk, "but to me it seems too small and brittle and thats why I dont use it very often, but I keep it, because it was a gift."

According to Zakk, this Les Paul Standard sounds as good as a Custom. He purchased it, because it looked fantastic, in particular its beautiful flame maple top. He only changed the pickups to EMGs.

One more Gibson with a beautiful flame top. He purchased it because of the finish. When Zakk saw it for the first time, he named it Tiger. This 1981 Les Paul Standard was used on No More Tears.

Zakk purchased this one when he joined Ozzy. He later got rid of it, because it had a vile sound. This was a Les Paul Deluxe. Rusty pickups dangled and thundered. Moreover, the sound, did not please Zakk.
Note: Goldtop LP on bottom is not the same as the Goldtop LP on top.
